MOORTOWN LODGE HOTEL

It is about a year since Moortown Lodge reopened for business following an eight month closure for major repairs and modernisation. The new owners, John and Joy Meredith, had previously scoured the Wessex area for a suitable small hotel or B&B with home and income potential but kept being drawn back to the Georgian character of Moortown Lodge and the friendly small town atmosphere of Ringwood.

From a standing start last summer new and repeat business has built up very quickly as word has got round amongst local residents and business people about the warmth of their welcome and very high standards of comfort they have set. Moortown offers a mix of 7 non smoking en-suite twin, double and family rooms, all are lavishly equipped and in addition to hospitality trays and all the usual refinements offer digital TV, direct dial phones and broadband. Moortown provides a convenient location and good safe parking.

Whether it is a business stopover, a short break or longer stay, finer accommodation in the New Forest area would be difficult to find. Also right on the doorstep is a premier health and leisure club, which offers their guests privilege rates and can help you tone your body whilst you relax your mind. Their rates start at £40 per person per night and include full English breakfast.
